Part-Time Sales Executive

Job Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential clients that fit the Lindenberger profile and are in need of HR consulting services
  • Generate new leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, email outreach and attending industry events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects
  • Conduct regular follow-up to maintain pipeline of potential clients
  • Promote referral program with existing clients and team members

Consultative Selling:

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their HR challenges and objectives
  • Engage consultant and marketing team as appropriate to ensure sales pitch aligns with brand strategy and sound HR principles
  • In partnership with HR consultant(s), recommend appropriate solutions based on clients’ specific requirements and industry best practices

Proposal Development:

  • Analyze competitor activities to ensure proposals are compelling and relevant

Sales Tracking:

  • Create simple prospect tracking tools
  • Provide regular reports on sales progress and forecasts
  • Gather and analyze feedback related to proposals not accepted to refine future strategies

Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and HR strategies
  • Become knowledgeable about consultant capabilities
  • Participate in training programs, workshops and staff meetings to improve HR competencies
  • Part time position of 15-20 hours a week to begin. Hybrid. Flexible hours.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales or business administration or three years sales experience
  • Three years of human resources experience preferred
  • Three years of prospecting, cold calling and closing skills preferred
  • Self-starter with infectious enthusiasm, an out of the box thinker who sees opportunities and solutions
  • Experience selling to business owners and nonprofit leaders preferred
  • Ability to cross-sell and up-sell
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
