The Lindenberger Group partnered with a construction company in New Jersey that was struggling with bridging relationships between apprentices, non-union workers, union workers and office staff. Sue Vandereof, one of our consultants, helped the company create a field initiative program. The goals of the program were to develop a more open dialogue between workers and management and to connect field employees to the company brand. Based on our success, the company built a state-of-the-art training facility to continue training and open dialogue.

Another one of our clients, a nonprofit located in NYC, was faced with the daunting task of having to downsize staff at a time when the HR Director role was vacant.  The Lindenberger Group worked with the leadership team to assess and identify staff selected for reduction while ensuring a fair and unbiased decision-making process. Consultant, Carol Wolkiewicz, crafted a severance plan that balanced the financial constraints of the organization with the desire to financially recognize the employee’s contributions. Additionally, Carol trained the leaders on how to handle the notifications and ensuring that all employees were treated respectfully. The diligence we applied helped ensure fair treatment to all affected employees and the avoidance of costly wrongful termination litigation.
