For more than 20 years, Ellen has applied her expertise to improve organizations across a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, advertising, consulting, manufacturing, and entertainment. She has worked as both a sole human resources practitioner and as a leader in full-service HR departments.

Ellen has conducted open enrollment sessions, managed terminations, and layoffs with respect, and navigated challenging employee relations matters. She has also handled highly confidential information, applying a high level of sensitivity and strong communication skills.
Ellen holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Baruch College/Cornell University School of Industrial Labor Relations, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from SUNY Albany. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
