Jennifer Zbinden has worked as a human resources generalist for over twenty years and has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She earned a BA from Ithaca College and an MA from Rider University.
Jennifer’s background includes all aspects of human resources, including:
- Collaborating with business leaders to formulate goals and leverage HR to achieve strategic objectives
- Serving as a change agent and enhancing metrics-driven decision-making
- Expertise in recruitment, compliance, employee relations, employee handbooks, job descriptions, onboarding, training, benefits, and payroll
- Implementing standardized, repeatable processes that reduce operating costs and improve quality
- Rapidly adapting to and working effectively within diverse company cultures
Jennifer has conducted employee orientations, created employee handbooks, managed terminations and layoffs with respect, and handled confidential information with strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
She has worked as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for Merrill Lynch and ContiMortgage and has provided HR consulting across various industries, including construction, consulting, education, engineering, fragrance and flavors, healthcare, IT, manufacturing, nonprofit, safety, and utilities.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She also provides doggie daycare for families while they travel.
